Scholarship requirements

Before applying to Cascajal Foundation Scholarship, you must satisfy the requirements specified below:

  1. Be a graduating high school senior in the Houston, Texas area.
  2. Must be of Hispanic descent.
  3. Have a minimum weighted GPA of 3.5 on a 4-point scale *.
  4. Submit recent official transcript to the address located at the bottom of this page.
  5. Must plan to enroll in a 2 or 4 year college program in Fall 2019.
  6. Submit a copy of your college admission letter to the address located at the bottom of this page.
  7. Fill out our Scholarship application form completely.
  8. Complete the scholarship essay with a mininum of 200 words on topic listed in the online application.
  9. Provide us with your contact information.

If you are selected as a recipient of the scholarship award, you must commit to certain obligations. You must appear to the Scholarship Award Ceremony, complete at least 8 hours of community service with the Cascajal Foundation, and remain in contact with Cascajal Foundation for future references and events. Failure to adhere to the following conditions will result in retraction of the scholarship award.
